A Brief Biographical Sketch

Dr. K.V.K. Nehru is a Mechanical Engineer by profession and had been a senior Professor of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. He took his B.E. (Honors) Degree from Andhra University, India in 1961. He was awarded the Vepa Krishnamurthy medal for ranking first in the University among all the disciplines of Engineering. He did his post-graduation in Foundry Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Doctorate in the Faculty of Metallurgy from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education. He has been a recipient of Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Award.

Throughout his career, Dr. Nehru has maintained a collateral interest in the field of Science—especially, Physics. He has been associated with the development of the new General Theory of Physics, the Reciprocal System, working along with its creator, Dewey B. Larson and his collaborators.

The International Society of Unified Science (ISUS), which was incorporated in Utah, USA, for promoting the study and research of the new Theory, has honored him with their Life Membership. He has contributed nearly 70 original Papers to Reciprocity, the quarterly technical Journal of the ISUS. He has also been one of the Associate Editors of the Journal. The ISUS brought out the book Collected Writings of KVK Nehru on the Reciprocal System. He maintains interaction with the Reciprocal System Research Groups by Internet. He has been visiting the USA several times attending Conferences on the new theoretical system. He has been endeavoring to bring the knowledge of the Reciprocal System to the Academics through Lectures and Colloquia.

He had been instrumental for the inception of the Center for Energy Studies of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and acted as its Head. He has occupied several administrative positions such as the Director of the Institute of PG Studies & Research, and the Registrar of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.

He is also a long-time Fellow of the Theosophical Society and a member of their Science Group. He is a National Lecturer of the Indian Section of the Society. He helped create the official web site of the Theosophical Society international Headquarters at: http://www.ts-adyar.org. He also maintains a web site at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/divya-jnana/ for sharing his PowerPoint presentations on the Theosophical Teachings, available in English, Spanish, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu versions. He conducted several workshops on the themes of Space, Time, Motion and Consciousness. He has been studying the Teachings of Sri J. Krishnamurti and conducting study classes on the same for special-interest groups.
