Dear Jan:

In our conversation about the preparation of the material for our new promotional campaign, you indicated that you were in a position to handle the reproduction of whatever kind of a follow-up to the gravitation article we might decide to send. Enclosed is what I have written for this purpose.

I do not want to impose on your time, and if you have too many other matters on the docket, just let me know, and I will take care of the job here.

I t will be advisable to single-space, and to use both sides of the sheet, so that we keep the number of sheets (including the letter of transmittal) down to where we can send the article in an ordinary letter envelope. I am still figuring on sending out only enough offers to get about 100 acceptances. We can then see how effective our message is before we go into any more extensive mailing.
