Dear Dr. Nehru
As you know, I and my associates have developed a general physical theory, the only theory thus far devised that derives all of its conclusions in all physical fields from the same set of basic premises. We have applied the theory to a clarification of the fundamentals of all of the major areas of physical science, and we are now working on the extension of this theoretical development to the details of the phenomena of these various areas. If you can arrange to obtain a grant for study in the United States, we would be pleased to have you participate in the research that we are undertaking.
Since it has been necessary for us to concentrate on the fundamentals in order to build a foundation for more detailed investigation, only a few of the subdivision of the major fields have been studied in any substantial detail thus far. Consequently, there is a wide range of possibilities for specialization. A study of the pulsars, as you suggested, would be appropriate. Another possibility that I might suggest is some aspect of electricity or magnetism. These are fields in which our clarification of the fundamentals, in the light of our general theory, has only recently been completed, and the way is now open for an extension of these finding to the individual phenomena and relations.
Very truly yours,
D.B.Larson
