Dear Jan:

Here is the revision of the outline that takes care of the objections raised during the conference. I have made 4 corrections at locations marked by X in the margins. I have decided not to attempt to clarify my views as to the relation between the progression of space and the progression of time, (items D and 1), but to sidestep the issue by omitting reference to the derivatives.

I am also enclosing a different version of the outline that reflects all of the thoughts that I have had with respect to improving it, since I prepared the original. We can go ahead with the original for our initial mailings, and then, if we get enough results from these to justify continuing the program, you may some day have the time and the inclination to make the changes so that we can use the revised text in the rest of the promotional activity.

The new matter is identified by red underlining, or brackets for extensive additions or revisions. I have put in a black asterisk to indicate where portions of the original have been deleted. I don't know whether this kind of thing is helpful, but I am including it just in case.

I want to thank you for all of the help that you gave us during the week that we spent in New York, I t was particularly important to me because of my restricted mobility.
