Dear Mr. Larson:

I write you at the suggestion of Professor Frank Meyer, with whom I have been corresponding over the last several months. The matter about which he thought I should contact you concerns an article which Science Digest is interested doing on your work. Some weeks ago I wrote to a number of popular science journals with the idea that they present your work to their readers. The only response so far came from Mr. Scott DeGarmo of Science Digest —I enclose copies of the correspondence. As you see, Mr. DeGarmo has not yet committed himself to anything, but he did ask for specific suggestions from us as to who could write the piece and what form it would take. Prof. Meyer thought you might like to write it yourself; I am informing Mr. DeGarmo of this possibility (cf. enclosed copy of my letter to him). I think we should await a more solid commitment on Mr. DeGarmo’s part before devoting much valuable time to this project, though in the case that you have a ready unpublished piece that you would consider appropriate, it could be shown to Mr. DeGarmo right away.

Respectfully yours,

Jan N. Sammer
