Dear Dewey:
I’ve been thinking of ways to publicize the new book, and have come up with a publicity announcement, a copy of which is enclosed. It is just a proposal, and I have not shown it to anyone else yet. It can also be easily changed, since it is done on a computer. The first sentence is meant to catch people’s attention, and I think it succeeds. Please let me know if you would like any changes, or if you would like me to print it in a larger number of copies.
