Dear Dewey:

I did pay the $10.80 some time ago; your check is enclosed.

I have another month of school left, and then I should be able to devote some more time to publicizing the new book. I have made a few efforts in this regard—mainly lobbying with The New York Review of Books and with Robert Jastrow, the astronomer—so far with no visible results. I have also distributed several hundred more of the book announcements. I am going to try to have Dr. Hoff write a review in KRONOS. I still have all the addresses I typed for the pre-publication announcements stored in the computer, and can have them printed out on labels free of charge. Would North Pacific be interested in getting these labels and if so, how many sets?

I spoke to Ronald Satz a few days ago, and he was wondering if you were making good progress on the middle volume.

Finally, I am about half way through the transcripts of the taped conversations we had last summer, and will try to finish the job in early May, as soon as school is over.

My best,
