Dear Dewey:
Ms. Jacubcin has come back with a response, contrary to all my expectations. I think we should take her up on both her offers: I will write to Jaakko Hintikka along the lines of your letter to me, and, if you think it advisable, you could submit one or both of the papers that you mentioned. Maybe persistence will pay off after all.
